For Home Energy Raters
ENERGY STAR® qualified homes must be verified and certified. The rater inspects the project on-site and collects all the information needed to verify compliance with ENERGY STAR home standards. The rater directly confirms the proper selection and installation of specifications with nominal values and labels (e.g., insulation, windows, appliances).
As independent businesses, HERS providers offer various services to builders. They will be able to assist you in discussing pricing, testing protocols, training for sub-contractors and staff, and inquiries about the value and range of services that are best for your company.
The following is a list of certified HERS providers within the Rocky Mountain Power service territory. Contact one or more of the following HERS providers to arrange for your homes to be ENERGY STAR certified.
